We checked directly in the application's source code, we did not assume: ElectricalVPF ERP sets no cookies at all — not for authentication, not for analytics, not for advertising. There is no Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any other behavioural tracking tool. For this reason, we do not display a consent banner with cookie categories — it would imply functionality that simply does not exist in the product.
Authentication and a few interface preferences use your browser's localStorage (a
local storage technology, distinct from cookies, but regulated similarly under Art. 5(3) of the
ePrivacy Directive). Exactly what we store:
token — your authentication token (JWT), strictly necessary to
stay signed in. Without it you cannot use the app. If you tick “Remember me”, it stays in localStorage for up to 30 days; otherwise it is kept in sessionStorage and removed when you close the browser (at most 12 hours). Strictly necessary — exempt from
consent.locale — the interface language you chose. Functional —
exempt from consent.sidebarCollapsed — whether you collapsed the side menu, so it
doesn't reset on every visit. Functional — exempt from consent.theme — your appearance preference (Light/Dark/System).
Functional — exempt from consent.evpf-newsletter, evpf-newsletter-snooze (on the public website) — whether you are subscribed or unsubscribed to news, and the moment you closed the subscribe window, so that we do not show it again (30 days after “Not now”, never after confirming or unsubscribing). Alongside, in sessionStorage, evpf-newsletter-shown remembers that the window has already appeared during the current visit. They do not contain your email address. Functional — exempt from consent.All of this data stays exclusively in your browser — it is not sent to us "as a cookie", it is read locally by the application on your own device. You can delete it at any time from your browser's site-data settings for electricalvpf.app — this will sign you out.
The site is hosted through Cloudflare, which may set its own strictly technical cookies/technologies at the network level, for protection against automated attacks and efficient content delivery (e.g. during the Cloudflare Turnstile anti-bot check shown at login/registration). These are managed directly by Cloudflare, not by ElectricalVPF ERP's own code — see Cloudflare's cookie policy for detail.
If ElectricalVPF ERP ever introduces traffic-analysis or marketing tools, this page will be updated BEFORE they are enabled, and a real consent banner will be implemented, with Accept/Reject/Customize options, functional from the very first visit — we will not start such technologies without your prior consent.
